We will get together to share ideas, knowledge and information, organize work days to help members with sustainable projects, bring in speakers and experts to learn new skills.
Wyomanock Center was conceived to promote the ethos of sustainable living and environmental education. It will become a venue where people can learn about topics within the realm of sustainability, natural history and creative arts. This can be accomplished in many ways such as workshops, discussion groups, film screenings, camps and performance. Topics could include renewable energy, natural building, health and healing, primitive skills, nature study, to name a few.
